Publishers are using Twitter as their main platform for content creation and distribution. "Tweets" are valuable pieces of content that require time and hard work to produce. There is a need for publishers to be compensated for the content they create on Twitter, just as they are on most other platforms. The most logical form of compensation for this content comes in the form of advertising. Ad.ly helps you get compensated for your hard work creating content on Twitter.

You can change your price at any time by visiting your settings from the publisher dashboard.

When Ad.ly connects you with an advertiser, you will receive a request from the advertiser in your internal dashboard, which you can approve or deny. The request will also be sent to you via email to the address you used when you signed up.

The end of every Ad.ly tweet (except tweets for charity) is marked with "(Ad)" notifying your audience that this is an advertisement. In order to ensure authenticity, every Ad.ly Tweet has to be explicitly approved by the Twitter publisher and is disclosed as an ad.

With Ad.ly you can donate part or all of your earnings to charity. When you're tweeting for charity, the end of the approved ads in your feed will be disclosed with (Ad 4 Charity).

The ad will show up in your stream at a randomized time for the day it was approved.

The Ad.ly platform allows advertisers to reach a highly engaged audience on Twitter by matching them with influential personalities to promote their message.

For each campaign, Ad.ly automatically inserts your desired message as a tweet in each publisher's Twitter feed. When sent, the Twitter publisher’s followers will see your message just like they would any other tweet sent from the publisher.
